I'm excited to continue this journey through life by counting my blessings, recognizing that I've made my share of mistakes, but very thankful for all the lessons I've learned along the way.  I'm specially thankful for my family, my friends, for the Salsa community and for being involved with ZUMIX. ZUMIX provides opportunities and resources to all youth that help build successful futures and communities through the art of music at FREE or low-cost. It is truly a way of keeping music alive for generations to come. This evening is dedicated to ZUMIX and includes... -Social dancing to DJ Music. -Live Music by one of Boston's finest, Manolo Mairena y su Pura Vida. -Special Guest, Johnny "Dandy" Rodriguez who is a world class percussionist and has played with luminaries of our music such as Tito Puente, Tito Rodiguez, Machito and Johnny Pacheco just to name a few. He's founder of Tipica 73, the Mambo Legends Orchestra and currently leads his band "Johnny Rodriguez and his Dream Team" in New York City. -Dance Performances -Food -And much more! -$43 in advance, $50 at the door if available.
