Founders Forum is a new educational series from NEXT designed for entrepreneurs, created to educate founders in core disciplines relevant to all startups and activate the ecosystem at large. Offshoring, Cofounders and Capital: This month, we will host Paul Della Maggiora, CEO of Avallano, a startup in Greenville, SC that offers a patented software platform for pharma and healthcare. After graduating from the University of South Carolina with a computer science degree, he lived across the country to work for IBM, Cisco, Motorola, Avaya, and most recently NCR before moving back to South Carolina. He’s held leadership positions in engineering, customer success, and technical sales. Paul was a mentor for NEXT in his corporate days before deciding to jump out and launch Avallano. Paul will speak on what to do when you need to fire a cofounder and will also share his experience raising money in the Southeast and working with offshore developers.
