Hosted at Emory University's Harland Cinema at Alumni Memorial University Center (630 Means Dr, Atlanta, GA 30322). Doors open at 6:30, film begins at 7 PM. Suggested public parking at Peavine Lot (29 Eagle Row NE, Atlanta GA 30322) or Lower Gate Lot (1717 Lowergate Drive, Atlanta 30322) See map below. If taking ride share or alternate mode of transportation, Harland Theater is located at the Alumni Memorial University Center at (630 Means Dr., Atlanta, GA 30322) About Sacred Waters: Sacred Waters, presented by OPA with the generous support of the National Parks Conservation Association, takes viewers into the heart of the Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge, showcasing its mystical natural beauty, cultural importance, and incredible ecological value. But, as the title of the film sets forth, the sacred waters of the Okefenokee are in peril. The threat of a proposed mineral mine near the edge of the Okefenokee looms large, putting the natural integrity of the Swamp at risk.
