We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, diligent and productive team member to work in our production team making healthy meals that are packaged and shipped to our customers. You will be working alongside other team members to ensure our products are of the highest quality and made with attention and care. This will be a full-time position and we are looking for candidates that want to grow along with our company. Our facility is located in Commerce City, CO. Responsibilities and Duties: Keeps work area and equipment clean and sanitary at all times Sets up assigned area and maintains adequate supplies during shift Follows daily scheduled utility cleaning guidelines as assigned Adheres to County sanitation codes and regulations Documents dish machine temperatures according to department policy Checks duties by reviewing daily pull and prep lists. Stores food at proper temperature; labels, dates, and rotates all products in accordance with company standards. Follows safe food handling and proper hygiene practices Adheres to workplace safety standards for operating and maintaining equipment and reports any equipment malfunction to management immediately Performs opening and/or closing side works according to established checklists to prepare production areas for daily use before production begins for the day Maintains food preparation area, cleans equipment and workstations immediately after use or as required Scaling and mixing ingredients to precise measurements from recipes End of day clean-up, including dishwashing, mopping and reorganization of materials Assisting in other departments as needed, such as packaging Performs other duties as assigned While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand during 8hr shift Qualifications and Requirements: Happy to undertake repetitive tasks with a professional and positive attitude Able to take direction and be mentored to succeed in role Knowledge of general food safety practices and requirements Proactive, self-motivated and hardworking Ability to work in groups and independently as needed Excellent attention to detail Good verbal communication Able to display excellent time management skills Requirements/conditions of our work environment: Constantly reach at waist, grasp Frequently stand, walk, reach at shoulder, bend Occasionally reach at overhead, reach at knee, reach at floor, stoop, squat, crouch, kneel, stair climb, pivot, twist, push / pull with arms, pinch, perform fine motor movements, shoulder abduction Routine exposure to hot, cold, loud noises and wet conditions Ability to lift 50 lbs 10 Days PTO, Full Coverage Health, Dental, Vision for Employee
