Looking for Professional Painters, Carpenters, Tapers (FOREMAN) Experience: - Commercial and/or industrial painting preferred Special Knowledge/Skills: - Knowledge of equipment, materials, methods, practices, and tools used in painting trade - Ability to properly apply paints - Knowledge of and ability to mix paint to match colors - Ability to follow written and verbal instructions - Ability to work both independently and in teams - Keen eye for aesthetic and visual precision - High attention to detail - Able to stand for long periods of time - Steady hand to ensure precision - Flexible to travel to job sites - Excellent communication skills & a positive mentality/attitude - Comfortable working on tall ladders, stilts and/or scaffolding Requirements: - Reliable transportation to and from job site & clean driving record - Valid state ID - Must be legally eligible to work within the United States Job Requirements: - Experience in all phases of paint prep including but not limited to caulking, wood filler, sanding, base board, windowsills, trim, doors etc. - Experience in painting doors, cutting, rolling ceilings, walls, flat, eggshell, semi-gloss, and VOC compliant oil base paints - Protect all nearby furnishings and building materials before and during every painting job, including carpets, cabinetry, outlet covers, lighting fixtures and landscaping - Cleanliness in workspace - Reliable and punctual - Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures at all times - Collaborate with other professional painters on larger jobs - Practice self-supervision on small jobs and ensure completion of each project in an efficient, timely manner - Ability to complete assigned tasks within the required time frame - Must be coachable - willing, and able to follow instructions and plans accordingly - Meet with foremen to discuss color and finish options as well as other design details/brief/debriefs
