"Equity" is a tool of the fascists and it's goal to put everyone on a level ground, That ground is designed to corral and control the population. No one is "entitled" to anything! If you want something, work for it." ...............................Your problem isn't with Liberals, it's with the interpretation of the constitution which mandates the government to promote the general welfare of society. Creating equity is in the best interest of the masses so it promotes the general welfare and the greatest benefit to society. It also prevents the few from controlling everything. Sadly, conservatives do everything in their power to oppose equity and now we see how those with all the money control just about everything in America from media to politics. Conservative leadership has robbed society of choice. Here's an example: I have no children, but the government still taxes me so that those with children can obtain a FREE education K-12. According to conservative logic, it isn't fair to be taxed for something that does not benefit them personally.....and yet we know that if we didn't contribute to the betterment of society, as a whole, regardless of the benefit to ourselves, we would have a nation of imbeciles, unable to write or do simple math. We would not be known for our advanced technology but apparently, it would make conservatives happy.
