We are looking for a HVAC Systems Engineer, Full Time/Direct Hire- $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year Please call 585-360-4670 if interested in applying !! Job duties/description: • HVAC and Refrigeration system application design • HVAC and Refrigeration system design including compressor, blower, fan, and valve selection • System control scheme design, Psychrometric load calculations • Refrigeration system troubleshooting, Airflow analysis and duct design • Performs new project design and development, updates previous designs in compliance with company quality process • Periodically reviews current design to obtain cost savings • Review Customer Specifications and design to meet requirements • Provides technical support as needed • Maintains contact with suppliers and evaluates their proposals • Stays current on new components, design and manufacturing methods and other industry trends by attending vendor trade shows, vendor training, and reading trade journals • Provides technical support and documentation during the development of unit owner’s and operator’s manuals Knowledge Required: • Knowledge of 3-D and 2-D CAD design, project management, manufacturing, word processing, spreadsheet, psychometrics • HVAC design, quality software and internet software. • Mathematical concepts including probability and statistical inference and fundamentals of plan and solid geometry and trigonometry. • Ability to apply fractions, percentages, rations, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations. • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
