Preferred but not required Education and Skills  Previous experience in the home improvement space including installing windows, siding, drywall, roofing, or cabinetry is highly desirable.  Ability to show initiative and follow directives  Good decision making and problem-solving.  Good communication and customer service skills.  Hungry to learn and grow and improve your knowledge.  The desire to have fun and make a difference. Compensation: $740 per week or more potential starting wage with opportunity for growth depending on the applicant's ability to "think", display initiative, have positive communication skills, follow company directives and systems, and the applicant's ability to learn to perform finish-level work. Stable Employment Monday through Friday with normal working hours from 7 or 8 am to 4 or 5 pm the entire year. We also provide new construction for additions. We only work for primary homeowners. We are looking for applicants who have or seek experience in finish-level carpentry for the repair and installation of interior and exterior finishes. We are looking for applicants who have the ability to normally work alone or with a helper with our proven systems from start to finish. We predominantly work around West Knoxville. Applicants will be provided a company email address and must be able to send and receive text messages and emails via a personal device. Applicants must be able to read and understand how to access documents on a portable device. This position rewards attention to detail, work ethic, and good attendance. Applicant must have reliable truck transportation and basic carpentry tools. The company can supply all necessary specialty equipment and tools for this position as part of the compensation package. This position requires the ability to receive, deliver and handle small quantities of building materials. Applicant must have the ability to work from ladders and scaffolding, and maneuver in tight places like crawl space and attics. This position requires higher-than-average mechanical skills and the willingness to follow directions of proven install systems. Applicants are required to have a valid driver's license and independent transportation to our office and job sites. We often provide a company vehicle for delivering materials and equipment.
