Spotlight On Activism: a monthly series to benefit activist Marie Follaytar and shine a bright light on the amazing and varied activism shaping our community and our shared futures! Date: January 18, February 8, March 8, April 12 and May 10th, 5:30pm - 7pm at CoWork Hers in Portland, and on Zoom Marie Follaytar is a committed and skilled activist who has had a huge positive impact on our state and our community. From organizing large rallies in downtown Portland and creative visits to Senator Collins' office, to civil disobedience in Washington DC. and major fundraising campaigns, Marie has worked to create a caring, crafty and people-powered Maine.
