Description
Join our Very Moody Valentine Dried Bouquet Workshop in Beacon, NY! Dried flower arrangements are some of the most stylish, lowest-maintenance accents to spruce up your place—and they don't have to look like they're fresh out of a rom-com. At this small group workshop, you'll make a unique, very moody dried bouquet with unique flowers, greens and branches. With proper care, your bouquet should last 2-3 years (or more) with no fuss. During the class, you'll learn about: The principles of dried floral designSelecting seasonally themed dried flowers and greeneryComposing unique, balanced arrangements that suit your styleColor theory options so your design looks intentional Supplies to make even more designs at homeAfter a tutorial and demo, you'll get to work making your own bouquet, with hands-on guidance when you need it. All guests will receive a 15% discount to shop at Witch Hazel after the event. You don't need to bring anything except yourself...so grab a ticket and come over. See you at the flower bar! FAQ Do I need to wear/bring/prep anything special for the class? No! Just be comfortable. We'll have bar chairs available — but many students find themselves standing at our tables during most of their design process. Accommodations are readily available for those using wheelchairs and folks who cannot stand comfortably for extended periods. We'll provide all the flowers and supplies. Where do I go for the class? Come to 176 Main Street in Beacon, NY, and enter through the shop's front door. It's to the left of the store window. If you like, pop by a few minutes early to get settled. Do I need any prior experience with flowers? Nope! Do I get to take my bouquet home? Yep! Will you serve refreshments? Due to the recent increase in cases of various illnesses, we won't have our usual snacks and drinks / refreshment bar. You can bring your own individual servings of snacks and drinks, though. Please keep the space and your fellow students in mind. (Meaning: please avoid foods with super-potent smells, big open glasses of your favorite red wine, food you need a whole plate and place setting to eat, etc.) What health precautions will you have in place? All staff will wear masks, and we will follow the latest CDC and public health guidance for any other recommendations that might emerge. What happens if I purchase a ticket but can't attend? Because we're a small business and have to order flowers and supplies in advance, we unfortunately can't offer refunds within 48 hours of the event. We understand there are emergencies and unexpected issues, though. Email [email protected] before the event if sickness or other circumstances prevent you from attending. How big is the class? The class size is limited to 8 guests, which means personalized assistance, plenty of space, maybe even some new friends!
