Description

This is a two day, two part training for the secondary (Tier 2) PBIS training targeting all K-12 schools. This level of intervention supports behavior interventions for the 10-15% of students who do not respond to Universal behavioral interventions alone and who do not quite require intensive Tertiary behavioral interventions. Participants will learn about the Behavior Education Program/(Check-In/Check Out) intervention as well as the 12 other features of a successful Secondary (Tier 2) PBIS intervention program to assist student behavior on campus. Work time will be given to get started on product and process planning for implementation on each campus. This is a great training for new schools/campuses that have formed/been built since initial implementation in 2010/2011 or who have had team members retire, move on, or are no longer campus Secondary/Tier 2 team members and need to put significant work into revamping the process.
