Description

As an MOT Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance of traffic support services for Global Resource Management. This position will require the proper setup and removal of all traffic control devices, as well as maintaining the integrity of the MOT strategy for the duration of the construction project. Key Responsibilities: -Maintain a flexible schedule -Ensure proper setup, maintenance, and removal of all MOT equipment -Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with company and industry safety policies and procedures -Identify potential hazards and assist in maintaining a safe work environment for all team members -Supervise and maintain traffic within the project area for the duration of the construction period, including any temporary suspensions of work -Construct and maintain detours as needed to facilitate various construction projects -Regularly monitor and inspect barricades for effectiveness, professional appearance, and intended traffic control purpose -Provide safe access to residences, businesses, etc., along with the project perimeter -Interpret simple plans and sketches -Assist in tracking projects and work orders -Provide efficient and professional verbal and written status reports and special reports as needed -Provide MOT training for other team members on proper MOT techniques and strategies Qualifications: -Ability to multitask, focus on details, and work independently with limited supervisor support -Ability to work in a diverse environment and in a cooperative, positive and team-focused manner -Excellent customer service skills and professionalism -Knowledge of FDOT and MUTCD standards -Ability to follow verbal and written instructions -Ability to read and interpret plans and blueprints -Valid driver’s license Global Resource Management is an equal-opportunity employer.
