When we started this cancer awareness event in 2012 it never dawned on us how time and things would change. We've experienced some great events and are grateful for those who continue to be a part of them. Our reason was Wanda Myers, the mother of our visionary who was a breast cancer survivor. Our goal was awareness for the disease and to celebrate those who were affected by it. This included patients, caregivers, survivors and medical associates. Our mission was simple... S.hare H.ope & E.xperiences hence the name It's A S.H.E Thing. This event allowed us from all walks of life to come together with a common similarity in life to meet, network and celebrate our victories and remember those we may have lost along the way. In honor of our Award Namesake Wanda Pace Myers (S.H.E Award) recipient and honoree we invite you to come celebrate, engage, inspire and be encouraged by those who are living with, have beaten and are our heroes who care for them....
