Fundraiser to support the preservation of the Gladys Douglas Property. Pinellas Chapter FNPS will match donations up to $5,000. Can't attend but want to donate? Visit FNPS4GDP or Text keyword ROSEMARY to 71441 Join your friends and neighbors as we cap off the end of a month-long public fundraising campaign, with a casual fete in the Woodwright Beer Garden featuring live music by The Florida Boys with Peter Gallagher, Pat Barmore, Wendy Barmore and others. Our MC for the evening will be Prof. Craig Huegel, environmental consultant, author of numerous books on native plants and host of WMNF radio's The Waking Hours. Proceeds raised will be matched by the Pinellas Chapter Florida Native Plant Society up to $5,000. All proceeds benefit the fund to Save The Gladys Douglas Property managed by the Pinellas Community Foundation. Hosted by the Florida Native Plant Society, Blue Green Connections and Woodwright Brewing Company, with support from their partners The Pinellas Community Foundation, Suncoast Group Sierra Club and activist Nichole Mattheus. Purchase a table for your family or social group, and settle in for an evening of great entertainment, punctuated by brief remarks from community leaders who have played a vital role in the quest to preserve the GDP. Beer, wine and cider sales will be available through table service at appropriately distanced tables. Masks are required to enter the event and when not seated at your table.
