Join us as we welcome Bonnie Drunken Lad to Faribault for a special night of Irish music in honor of Saint Patrick's Day at The Cathedral of Our Merciful Saviour. Doors: 5pm Show: 6pm Part of The Merner Concert Series. Biography: Bonnie Drunken Lad. A group of 4 men of questionable celtic heritage with an interest in traditional and modern Irish drinking songs, war anthems, historical oddities, sea shanties, and anything Luke Kelly sings. Fronted by Jesse Freeman and Zach Benson (who combined have done time playing in metal bands, rockabilly, backing up country singers, pop cover bands, elementary school string orchestra’s, funk combo’s, and somehow they’ve ended up doing irish folk?!), and supported by newcomers Ryan Reding and William Dapper (who has an awesome name). They practice in a shack in Apple Valley, MN. Four guys, one Bonnie Drunken Lad.
