After a three year hiatus, #PHOTOWALK305 is back!! Join us for an afternoon of photography, food, & fun! #Photowalk305 is a themed photography event that is held monthly at various locations throughout Miami. #Photowalk305 invites analogue & digital photographers to examine different ways of seeing, experiment with different styles of photography, expand on our creativity, explore and become more aware of our city, and to meet / socialize with / learn from fellow photographers. This month’s photowalk will take place in Downtown Miami. We will meet at the Government Center Station entrance, greet, eat at Motek Mediterranean Cafe, and then we will walk off the food while taking photos around town. The theme for this month’s photowalk is VISUAL STORYTELLING. Participants will explore creating a narrative with a single image and with various images. Participants are encouraged to upload their photos onto their social media platform and hashtag #photowalk305. Participants are welcome to share the images from the photowalk to receive feedback from emerging and established photographers, on “Zoom Photo Thing”, hosted by Bill Maguire on Monday 27 February at 7pm. This photowalk is open to both analogue & digital photographers. Invite your photographer friends and family! Bring your SLR (limit to one lens + one roll of film [if shooting analogue]), TLR, rangefinder, point & shoot, disposable, mirrorless, smartphone cameras — whatever camera you own / use and let’s get shootin’!!
