Stress Free Home Needed for Cat

I have a four year old male cat that needs to be rehomed to a quiet, stress-free home. He is very lovable and friendly until he gets stressed, then he turns into a tiny panther, stalking and attacking the first animal/person he sees. When this happens, he goes (very difficultly) into a separate, quiet area for an hour or two and when he has calmed down, he rejoins the household. The problem is that his attacks are unprovoked and unpredictable. There have been four in the last year, and I can't risk any more injuries from his attacks. I will provide details of what sets him off to anyone who thinks they will be able to provide a home for him. I have had him since he was a kitten and have not had any issues with him until this past year. He is up to date on his vaccinations, flea free, litterbox trained and has been an indoor cat all his life. Except the one time he did escape and spent a few days outside. I'm sure he would love to be an outdoor kitty as well. I will not let him go to a home with small children.
