General Maintenance Worker

The General Maintenance employee will perform general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities including painting, cleaning, landscaping, plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating and cooling and other building systems. Duties will include: inspect and identify equipment or machines that need repair, troubleshoot issues to determine necessary repairs, plan repair work using buildings blueprints or equipment manual as needed, perform general repairs that do not require a specialized technician, perform routine maintenance on building systems, clean and assist with upkeep of the facilities, order supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance, and perform other related duties as assigned. Required Skills & Required Experience • Ability to follow instructions from supervisors • Knowledge of general carpentry and repair • Knowledge of construction projects • Ability to use hand tools and power tools. • Excellent organizational and time management skills • Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl in small spaces. • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time above head • Must not be afraid to inspect building roofs • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods • High school diploma or equivalent required • Related experience preferred. • Olivieri Real Estate LLC is an Equal Opportunity/ Affirmative Action Employer.
