Collaborators for an Irish mythology concept album

Meets

Auburn ME

Description

Throwing this out there to see if there's any interest.. I started a project a while back, but it hasn't seen movement simply due to a combination of life stuff, and a serious dry spell of creativity/motivation.. I'd like to pick it back up again.. I'm looking to create an instrumental album that chronicles an old Irish legend. The music would best be categorised as 'NeoCelt-ish', meaning I'm wanting to incorporate some Celtic instrumentation(pipes/whistle.. both of which I should have covered) I have a bassist in the UK who was in it with me at the beginning, so should have bass covered as well. What am I looking for? Someone who has a flair for composition, and who could sink his teeth into a project that's more for fun than anything else. I suppose it could also be to some degree, a resume building experience, with liner note recognition etc. If completed, I'd like to make it available via self-produced digital release. Instrumentally, it would be great to have strings, keys...? I could take a stab at them using midi-driven sound sources, but it's never quite the same.. I have a modest home based recording setup in Auburn, where we can track stuff: however I'm also not opposed to remote collab as well.. I'm looking for easy going folk, who don't care if they get rich off it, but might enjoy some comradery, laughs, but with an aim to produce something of high quality that would be enjoyed by others. There's definitely an audience for this stuff out there! Here's a snippet of a possible opener tune I created: https://youtu.be/eFiXhNb8QB0
