Guys and Gals! I’m looking at putting together a group of folks that can learn 15 or so original songs and show up to a rehearsal or two and play them. This will be a paying gig but not full time at all. I am able to do all this myself as a 1 man band through Abelton and a loop pedal but want to shock everyone at a show and show up with a full band. The material is not complicated but fun comedy based dancy stuff. What I’m looking for. Drummer- this person will be the backbone. Must play to a click during the shows. (I know that sucks but there is a lot of synth stuff that we will be playing as backing tracks. If you have electronic drums I can get you the sounds for the songs or we can just make em all real drums and take the songs from more dancy to more rocky. Guitar player- mainly chords and then solos. So a nice hybrid rhythm lead guy would be perfect. The music is not tough but we will build in places for you to rock! Bass- you will have a little creativity here because we will probably keep in some low bass synths as a backing tracks. Synth/Keys- once again, we can leave the synths as backing tracks and I can play all the synths live but if you play keys and like to rage, give me a shout! The shows will be pretty good size shows. Would be nice to maybe do 2 to 3 a year. I really don’t give a shit about age but more ability and stage presence.
