Im looking for other musicians who are into getting together and jamming with a focus on writing and eventually performing original music. I am a 40 yo guitar player that has been writing music for around 25yrs but hasnt performed or recorded in many years. Im interested in all types of instruments from traditional rock bass drums and keys to string instruments such as fiddle and cello. I would love to play with a cello. Keyboard/piano players of any style move to the front. Im not interested in writing music of any particular genre or style, just that whatever we use sounds good and gets us off. I like all genres. Just want to scratch a creative itch. Im constantly writing music. My favorite musicians are ween, grateful dead, napalm death, towns van zandt, willie nelson, reggae such as israel vibrations and lee perry, bad religion, sublime, guns and roses, dead milkmen, Bowie, Floyd, carcass, doom, skitsystem. As you can see my taste are all over the place. I would really like to find someone with experience and access to recording. Im a dinosaur when it comes to recording and dont know much about modern home recording. Questions welcome and hope to hear from you soon.
