Course Description Learn the basics of seed saving in the garden. We will take you through a rundown of plant families, annual and biennial plants, how selection can improve varieties, and how intentional seed saving bolsters food security and sovereignty. We will also show you simple tools that make collecting, drying, processing, and storing seeds a breeze. Presented by Alex Zeidner Alex’s love affair for veg started as a child growing a giant 300lb pumpkin here in Fort Collins, CO. Since then his passion and experience have expanded to encompass seed saving, biodynamics, and growing delicious produce. Alex is passionate about how food connects people and how choices made in agriculture reverberate out into our culture and future. His farm, Folks Farm and Seed, has been supplying fresh produce and seeds since 2019.
