Investing in challenging markets About our presenter: Tim Watson has spent his entire career within the world of investment management and financial planning, since graduating Magna Cum Laude from The Ohio State University with a degree in Finance in 2002. As the son of a mother who taught special education in the Ohio school system and a father who worked 40+ years for the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, hard work and Midwestern values were non-negotiable traits. Upon their departure from Ohio in 2005, Tim and his wife, Katie, made the 1,200 mile trek west to plant new roots in Colorado. They’ve since added four native Coloradans to the clan: Lauren, Luke, Elise & Audrey. Outside of the EverOak office, you’ll find Tim mountain biking Colorado’s world-class singletrack, coaching lacrosse, and cheering loudly (and embarrassingly, according to his girls) for his kids volleyball and basketball teams.
