In this tribal bellydance class, we will learn a series of simple moves that will result in a fun group choreography by the end of class. Tribal belly dance moves are grounded to the earth and are designed to be danced in a community. Picture a group of women dancing around a fire under a full moon! Further, tribal belly dance is a great way to stretch and ease sore muscles while strengthening others. No dance experience required. Wear comfortable clothes that allow easy movement and feel free to wear some flair. Jingle skirts will be provided.
Instructor: Lisa Marie Morgan has been dancing informally for most of her life. She has experience in tribal bellydance, latin dances including salsa, flamenco and all the moves needed at a discoteca. She recently moved to Wenatchee from Portland, Oregon, where she studied with Tribal Heart Bellydance.
