Come enjoy a full-length concert event featuring two full sets of original songs composed by Grammy award-winning Carole King. The music in this year's repetoire spans from her early songwriting days in the late 1960's through her seventh studio album, "Simple Things", which was released in 1977. Nearly two dozen tunes will be presented by the Raspberry Jam Band, whose current members include: Pat Lenertz (guitar, vocals), Kari Marie (piano, vocals), Jake Schaefbauer (guitar, vocals), Randy Schrenk (drums), and Josh Melby (bass). The band is pleased to annonce the addition of a new horns section on select tunes, featuring Fred Haring (saxophone), James Landman (trumpet), and Steve Wallevand (trombone). Other special guests include "Dakota" Kate Henne (fiddle, mandolin, harmonica, vocals) and Jeremiah Johnson (percussion). This will mark the fifth presentation of the Raspberry Jam tribute show and the first year at Concordia College, having been previously held at the former HoDo Lounge.
