Las Fotos Project presents Fall 2022: Culmination Exhibitions Opening ReceptionJoin us for the opening reception of our Fall 22 Culmination featuring exhibitions of images created by youth in our three unique programs: Esta Soy Yo, Digital Promotoras, and Creative Entrepreneurship Opportunities (CEO). These special exhibitions feature artwork from: Shape & Form - Esta Soy Yo where students reflected on the intersectionality of their identities and how they’re represented in their families, in loved ones, in memories, and even in tangible objects; Locals Only - Digital Promotoras documentary photographers who explored their communities and the individuals and businesses that make them up, form a sense of place, inspiration, and tradition; and Next Gen - CEO a collection of editorial and event images created by our young entrepreneurs in the Creative Entrepreneurship Opportunities (CEO) program. This event is FREE and open to the public. Te invitamos a la recepción de nuestra Culminación de Otoño 22 con exposiciones de imágenes creadas por jóvenes en nuestros tres programas únicos: Esta Soy Yo, Digital Promotoras  y Creative Entrepreneurship Opportunities (CEO). Estas exposiciones especiales presentan obras de arte de: Shape & Form - Esta Soy Yo, donde los estudiantes reflexionaron sobre la interseccionalidad de sus identidades y cómo están representadas en sus familias, en sus seres queridos, en recuerdos e incluso en objetos tangibles; Locals Only - Digital Promotoras fotógrafas documentales que exploraron sus comunidades y las personas y empresas que forman parte de ellas, forman un sentido de lugar, inspiración y tradición; y Next Gen - CEO, una colección de imágenes editoriales y de eventos creadas por nuestros jóvenes emprendedores en el programa Creative Entrepreneurship Opportunities (CEO). Las Fotos Project was launched to provide opportunities for those who are both systemically and socially silenced to make themselves heard and, in the process, advocate for social change and create their own pathways to successful, creative futures. Our program model further reinforces photography’s inherent ability to spark introspection, evoke deeper meaning, and serve as a catalyst for change by placing students at the heart of social justice efforts in their respective communities.
