Singing/yelping (but not screaming) bass-playing songwriter with kids and a day job looking to keep this little creative super-fun side distraction going... I have some songs and a private space to play in Lakewood (not a rented room at soundcheck) with a drum kit and a guitar amp and now I am just looking for some friendly, creative older musicians to get together a night or so every week to rock out and write tons more songs, record 'em, drink some beers and hang out. No "chops-a-must" or anything, just seeking a funny, nice guitarist and drummer who know how to play and will show up weekly to help me keep these basement-level height dreams of fame and fortune alive. pixies, modest mouse, idles, pavement, jawbreaker, superchunk, courtney barnett, cap'n'jazz, mbv... i like anything with some distortion/noise and a great melody mashed together, really
