Rate of pay is $15.00 At Choice Pet Products we are a growing distribution leader of high-quality pet food products and toys located in Palmetto, Florida. We are currently looking for motivated people that want to grow with us. Our extremely busy distribution team is looking for Warehouse Clerical Specialist with 1+ year/s of experience to join our team. The candidate should possess good communication skills to allow resolution of customer inquiries and requests. We offer great training, a loyal base of customers and fellow team members, and the support of management to drive positive relations with customers. Job Summary Verify and maintain records systematically on incoming and outgoing shipments. Prepare paperwork and labels for order fulfillment. Duties include printing, assembling, and organizing documentation for shipping merchandise or material; verifying and recording receipts of incoming merchandise or material; and generating bills of lading as necessary for the transportation of products. SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepare documentation, such as pick lists, labels, and bills of lading, to route materials. Record returns data, such as items, quantities, product condition, damages, or discrepancies for reporting, accounting, or recordkeeping purposes. Contact carrier representatives as necessary to make arrangements or to issue instructions for shipping and delivery of materials. Communicate with co-workers to rectify problems, such as damages, quantity discrepancies of purchase orders, or other nonconformance to specifications. Requisition and store general office and warehouse supplies to maintain inventory of stock. Examine shipment / receipt documentation and compare with system data and records, such as packing lists, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy. Deliver or route shipment or receipt documentation to appropriate departments. Assist in determining most cost effective shipping methods, routes, or rates for materials to be shipped. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma - or the equivalent (for example, GED) ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Must be highly detailed oriented.
