Lead Water Technician/Handyman

The successful candidate should possess the following: -Must be willing to work outside of “regular” business hours when necessary, including responding to emergency and non-emergency restoration calls -Experience working in a water mitigation department -Thorough working knowledge of water mitigation and dry-down processes -Someone who is detail oriented, extremely organized and takes pride in their work -Can work and communicate effectively with a team of restoration technicians. -Can work independently on the job as required. -Clean driving record, reliable transportation, pass drug screening, and background check. -Ability to be part of an on-call emergency rotation. Key Responsibilities: -Sets up and monitors equipment, takes pictures and documents progress of loss. -Documents service and installation actions by completing forms, able to take moisture readings, logs, and records file integrity and communicates details of all projects. -Oversees Equipment Maintenance (to include maintaining MSDS sheets). -Performs demolition of loss, if necessary. -IICRC certified is a plus. -Carpentry skills are a plus. -Able to install Drywall is a plus. -Painting ability is a plus. -Able to climb a ladder. -Able to lift at least 75 pounds. -Able to work in confined spaces. -Respects and maintains the confidentiality of company, client, and personnel information. -Ensures proper maintenance of vehicles and equipment. -Prepares trucks and equipment for emergencies. -Ensures that all assigned personnel are thoroughly trained in their duties and responsibilities, including safety precautions. -Enjoys being on the move and never having the same day twice -Continue to improve technical knowledge and personal performance. Part-time to full-time opportunity available Compensation will be hourly, based on experience and knowledge and negotiated at time of hiring.
