Helping Paws needs TWO more volunteer foster home trainers. Golden Retriever puppies go home in February and training classes will be on Tuesday evenings in Hopkins. Fill out a foster home trainer application here: https://helpingpaws.org/foster-home-trainer/ Helping Paws is one of two ADI Accredited service dog organizations in the state of MN. Volunteer foster home trainers get a puppy at 8 week old and train the dog for 2.5 years while attending weekly classes in Hopkins. Once the dog graduates, they go on to become a service dog for an individual with a physical disability or veteran or first responder affected by PTSD.
