Midas Auto Service is looking for an individual to maintain our New Jersey Facilities. As the Painter/Maintenance engineer with Midas you'll be responsible for: - Performing commercial painting related maintenance work, to include but not limited to: brush & roll, pressure washing, ladder work, wall/surface prep and other miscellaneous painting activities - Scraping, sanding, filling, and otherwise preparing surfaces of interior and exterior walls, woodwork, and metalwork of building equipment and facilities such as tables, cabinets, rooms, roofs, fences, and apparatus for painting and finishing - Erecting, rigging, moving, and working from scaffolds, and extension ladders - Using brushes and rollers to apply the required number of coats of paints, enamels, varnishes, lacquers, or other protective or decorative materials on a wide variety of surfaces such as wood, metal, glass, plaster, brick, stucco, cement, and wallboard. - Cleaning, adjusting, maintaining, and making minor repairs on painting power tools and equipment to ensure their safe and efficient operation - Minor plumbing repairs - Performing other duties and work in other areas as assigned What it takes to succeed: - Knowledge and physical ability (lift 50 lbs./climb ladders up to 20 ft.) to perform commercial painting functions in a theme park environment - Skilled in use of tools and equipment of the trade - Valid Drivers License - Mileage reimbursement The perks of the position: As part of the Midas family, you’ll enjoy a fun, fast-paced environment and great teammates, as well as: - Paid Holidays - Accrual based Paid Time Off - Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance - 401K plan - Voluntary Insurance - Life Insurance - Disability Benefits - Employee discounted auto repair Join the team!
