Description
Position: Warehouse Associate Reliant Air Conditioning, one of Dallas–Fort Worth’s premiere heating and air conditioning service providers, is looking for a dedicated and detail orientated Warehouse Associate to join our team! As our Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring that our warehouse is operating as smoothly as possible. Your duties will include, but are not limited to, verifying part numbers and other information before all pick-ups and deliveries, ensuring a clean and efficient warehouse working space, as well as ensuring that or installers and technicians have the parts and materials they need when they need them. Job Functions • Perform general warehouse duties, such as but not limited to, restocking inventory and breaking down scrap materials in a timely manner. • Utilize the forklift and/or pallet jack to load and unload service trucks, delivery trucks, and trailers. • Ensure that the entirety of the warehouse is kept neat, clean, and organized at all times. • Ensure the parking lot and general employee areas near the warehouse are maintained and clean. Requirements • High School Diploma/GED. • 1 to 2 years of previous experience in a warehouse environment. • Ability to interpret, understand, and carry out both simple and complex written and oral instructions. • Ability to solve issues and problems with several concrete standard solutions. • Intermediate knowledge of computer systems such as, but not limited to, the Microsoft Office Suite. • Knowledge and understanding of OSHA safety regulations. • Excellent oral, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication and presentation skills; with the added ability to effectively listen for understanding. • Ability to identify and prioritize multiple tasks while adhering to strict deadlines and overall project accuracy. • Demonstrated ability as a detail orientated, highly motivated self-starter with the ability to manage projects. • Ability to change and adapt to current and future responsibilities and circumstances. • Ability to work well within a team-oriented environment and build effective relationships within the team. • A current and valid driver’s license • Current forklift certification as well as the ability to operate a pallet jack. • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check. • Ability to work between the hours of 5:00am and 3:00pm Monday through Friday
