i just moved into the area & am looking to find some like minded people around asheville/hendersonville to play shows with. i have been playing live and releasing original music since 2015. i played shows in Oxford, MS with bands like Dent May, Bass Drum of Death, Screaming Females to name a few, then moved to NYC, and played some shows in Brooklyn & Manhattan with local acts there and a few bigger names like Porches & Momma. Recently I moved to NC for work and family, and I want to get back to playing shows as soon as i can find the right people. so to start off we would be playing songs i’ve already written, with parts in mind that you have the liberty to add your own style and touch into. in the future i am open to writing songs as a group if i can find the right people who can vibe with it. as a group, it would be a 4 piece: i play guitar & sing, with a bass player, drummer, & lead/rhythm/keyboard player who is flexible. i’m releasing an album in mid february through candlepin records, a small label based out of boston. so i would like to play some local shows and maybe travel to regional shows on weekends if you’re up to it. here’s a link to my music nadirbliss.bandcamp.com ffo: my bloody valentine, swirlies, lilys, sebadoh,
