This puts him above legendary coach Paul W. "Bear" Bryant, who won six career titles during his illustrious stint, for all-time championships, with seven. Apart from the expected performance from Smith, Heisman frontrunner and Tide quarterback Mac Jones also logged a memorable night, going 36-for-44 and 464 yards, finishing with five touchdown passes on the night and no interceptions. On the ground, running back Najee Harris managed 75 yards on 20 carries and two scores, making the offensive firepower too much for the Buckeyes to handle.
