Description

Join us in the park and compete for prizes in a friendly and fun environment. Grom skiers and riders who are 13 years and under will get a feel for park riding and experience the rules and navigation of the park. Mini Shred Madness is all about having fun in a competition setting. Not to mention, there will be all sorts of free giveaways being handed out at the event to competitors. The Events Team is looking for volunteers to help in 2 key areas: Registration - Volunteers will be responsible for greeting and checking in participants. They will also be making sure all registration forms are filled out correctly, making sure waiver forms are signed, handing out competition bibs and shirts (if necessary), and providing info to the competitors regarding the event.Runner - Runners should plan to work outdoors as responsibilities will vary, so please dress appropriately and bring proper equipment. We will be working on hill and throughout the terrain park in the Lil' Stash, so your ski/snowboard equipment is needed—as well as any extra layers, hats, gloves, facemasks, etc. to keep warm. Duties will mainly consist of setting up, taking down, and transporting fencing, tents, race gates, signage, wind flags, banners, etc. NOTE: you must feel comfortable in carrying 15-20lbs while skiing/snowboarding as you may be asked to do so.Volunteers will receive a lift ticket to return to Killington for every shift worked. Lift tickets earned are valid 1 year from the date they are received. Lunch will also be provided for each shift worked. Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older. Sign up is on a first-come, first-served basis and you will be emailed a confirmation (including a required Express Assumption of Risk form) upon sign up. We look forward to another Mini Shred Madness and hope to include you on our team!
