Situational awareness, in the most basic definition, is being aware of your surroundings and the activities going on around you. With more and more distractions in our everyday lives, it is important to have situational awareness. Whether you are driving down the road, at work, on vacation, or out with friends and family you need to be aware of what is happening around you. This class will help you to take the necessary actions and precautions to avoid potential dangers. This course will cover the following: Levels of awareness Planning Identifying potential threats and hazards Reading body language and pre-threat indicators Safety at home, work or vehicle Less than lethal options and self defense options Real life scenarios and what they can teach us. And More! This class will benefit anyone regardless of training level. We recommend this class for ages 13 and up. Class will start at 9am and end around 3, with a one hour lunch break. This is 100% classroom based. Please bring pen and paper if you would like to take notes. $60 per person.
