ISO Acoustic Bass Player

Description

Seeking an acoustic bass player (and/or cellist) to play with skilled accordionist/composer and violinist. I greatly prefer upright, though I'd consider acoustic-electric bass guitar. Please don't respond if you only play electric bass guitar. I prefer the acoustic sound. My intention is to gig around Seattle in duo or trio ensemble and record my 90+ original compositions. My originals and covers include a wide variety of genres including Latin, Tango, Bossa, Klezmer, Swing Jazz, pop, rock. Wanting strong players who can read charts (and, at times, improvise/solo). A+ for also being able to play arco (with a bow) and read both treble and bass clef. A++ if you play additional instruments such as cello, mandolin, violin, guitar, etc. A+++ if you are also female-identified or otherwise queer. You must be queer-positive and not just say you are to play music with me. I know the difference. Please describe your musical abilities and musical background. Also, tell me about your current life situation (where you live, whether you drive, your age, what your availability could be for rehearsals and gigs, etc.). If you provide good info, then I will respond to any questions you have. If you do not provide requested info, then I won't respond. I'm an extremely nice and friendly person who knows what she needs musically. I want to play w/ other nice, friendly, warm people. If you're sullen, moody, chronically angry... you're not for me. Thanks. I wish you the best in finding the best musical match-up.
