So, we are a group of 3 sixtyish musicians and a youngster in his thirties looking to finish out our band. We recently lost our drummer and are in need of another, preferably one that can also sing backup. We have done a few outdoor gigs and have about 40 songs gig ready or close to it. We currently have a female lead singer, and I sing lead and play second guitar and keyboards. Lead guitar and bass finish out the lineup. We are quite diverse in our setlists varying from Pat Benatar, Journey, Rolling Stones, Heart, Lenny Kravitz, The Muse, Joan Jett, and even some more difficult tunes like Time Stands Still by Rush, Carry On Wayward Son by Kansas as well as songs by Genesis and Yes. We have a space in Pembroke for rehearsal and a good PA system. We practice once a week on Wednesday nights for around 2 hours or so. We are just about ready to do some kind of a video demo to send out to clubs. I am sure the gigs will come, but it is not really about making a lot of money. 2 of us are retired, and a 3rd will be going soon. Having said that, we have not mellowed in our appreciation of rock music.
