Punk Rock and Roll band seeks bass player

Semi-established band seeks a bass player. We are looking to play fast and fun songs. Some bands we like -- Ramones, Green Day, Screeching Weasel, the Stooges, the Descendents and Motorhead. Punk rock is the core of what we do, but we like to take some excursions into other territory like surf rock, early heavy metal and garage rock. Things we are looking for in a bass player: dedication, enthusiasm and desire to make good music. We are looking for a creative bass player who can write their own parts that fit into the songs and can keep a groove with our drummer. We are open to writing new music and growing with your sound. Back up vocals are encouraged but not a requirement. We have a set of original songs, with a couple of covers, ready to go. Our practice space is safe and secure. Goals are to play out this Spring / Summer and record. Everyone has day jobs and usually practice is on weekend afternoons with the occasional weeknight.
