IMMEDIATE OPENING FOR FULL-TIME, ON-SITE, BUILDING/GROUNDS SUPERINTENDENT AND LEASING/MANAGEMENT REPRESENTATIVE FOR RESIDENTIAL APARTMENT COMPLEX. This is a Live-in position at a well established garden apartment community located in Hazleton, PA. [Two-person domestic partners will be considered to fill this position.] [Part-time without on-site apartment will also be considered.] Position Overview: The primary goals of this position is to provide a safe and adequate living environment for all residents and perform leasing and management functions to maximize profitability. This position will include dual responsibility of property management including leasing and rent collections, and overall maintenance and repairs for the community. Must have valid PA driver's license and dependable vehicle to perform off-property responsibilities (bank deposits, pick-up materials and supplies, etc.). Tenant relations, tenant procurement, collections, deposits, lease administration, general grounds & buildings, and interior and exterior maintenance and repairs (including resident service requests and after hours emergency maintenance calls), service contract procurement and daily reporting to ownership are all important responsibilities of this position. This position requires physical exertion, bending, ladder use, lifting of weight, regularly upwards of 35-50+ pounds (all safely), and be able to perform all facets of general construction and maintenance, including manual and mechanized snow removal and lawn maintenance. Experience with mechanical equipment (HVAC, boilers, pumps, lighting, etc.) and applicants with mechanical certification/licenses a "PLUS"! Health conscious and non-smokers/vapers also a "PLUS".
