Scorned by the church? Seeking personal stories

I am developing a writing project that I hope will become a book outlining the problems with American Conservative Christianity. I am looking for testimonies or stories from people who were once part of the Christian church and have since become disillusioned and walked away, or people who are still going to church but have been hurt as a result of conservative/republican views. While I may ask if some of you are willing to go on record in the future, for this first round you can remain anonymous, and I am looking for stories regardless of the person's economic, racial, sex, or religious background.
