Injection Mold Technician -2nd shift, 3PM-11PM -$24-$29/Hr. Job Description: Process Technician - Injection Molding Key Responsibilities; • Perform set-up and adjustments to injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment. • Perform mold changes. • Maintain cycle efficiencies and optimal processing parameters according to work instructions. • Troubleshoot and correct process parameters to assure quality product that meets customer specs. • Perform routine mold maintenance and safety checks on equipment • Insure proper safety practices, good housekeeping, and maintain 5-S • Enter operating information into the MRP system • Other duties as assigned Qualifications; • Must have a minimum 3 years of experience as injection molding technician. • Strong mechanical aptitude, critical thinking and troubleshooting skills • Good interpersonal skills and a team player • Knowledge and application of scientific molding principles a plus • Knowledge and use of MRP system like IQMS a plus • Able to carry out detailed written and verbal instruction • Capable of visual acuity to include distinguishing color variation and detecting defects • Capable of physical mobility including walking, sitting, bending, twisting, standing, pushing, pulling, and lifting (up to 50 lbs.) • Working knowledge of numerous engineered resins including high temperature resins a plus.
