Well it’s official. Our longtime Bassist of five years is having to move away. It’s sad for me but it’s time to hand this opportunity to someone new….. Seeking a special Deadhead bassist for working band. I know I sounds weird but must be deadhead. If you DON’T need to ask why then you may already know why…… it’s a niche. Looking for Someone who already known a large bunch of the Grateful Dead’s songs and has probably been playing them for years…. (IE: Scarlet Begonias Deal Birdsong Truckin Friend of the Devil Other one Tennessee Jed Cumberland …) Someone who can roll with stuff on stage. A good listener and solid creative player who can solo, hold it down, see around corners, drive the sound, and like playing live…. Versatile in many styles as may Deadheads are….. Someone looking to have fun Someone looking to be an equal team player Someone who like having their head up looking and paying attention to the center energy Someone willing to help some basic promotion Vocals and harmonies a serious plus. This is NOT a strictly Grateful Dead band at all. Many other covers and originals but dead tunes generally make up half a set No heavy drinking at gigs. Aiko Aiko
