Job Title: Maintenance Technician (FT –40 hrs) Job Summary: Paran’s Maintenance Technician role is crucial in maintaining Paran’s overall objective; to provide clean and safe housing to our renters. Completing maintenance effectively and efficiency is always goal as this greatly contributes to resident satisfaction and retention. This will include turning vacant apartments to make them rent-ready for new residents and fulfilling work orders for existing residents. Responsibilities & Duties • Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel, and follow safety protocols • Assist senior tech in maintaining heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality • Assist in pest control remediation in the absence of a pest control vendor. • Perform preventative maintenance as directed by Community Manager or senior technician • Perform turnover maintenance as assigned, including patching and painting units • Complete work orders for occupied units as well as routine common area maintenance as assigned • Perform interior and exterior Janitorial work ensuring the grounds are tidy and curb appeal is to expectation • Keep materials and supplies stored appropriately and securely, communicate deficiencies in supplies • Keep and report time accurately via Paran timecard • Communicate with Manager and senior technician and complete work order paperwork as requested. • Wear appropriate attire including personal protection equipment (PPE) when appropriate.
