The yard foreman is responsible for over- seeing the district yard assigned to them including but not limited to the management of salt/plows operators and walk crews while in the district yard to facilitate the completion of the work in an efficient and timely manner. -Return phone calls from the operations manager in a timely manner - Ability to take direction from the operations manager and execute on stated objectives - Lead the crews while in the district yard in conjunction with your operations manager or area manager to work in a "team approach' during all facets of your roll. Qualifications: knowledge and understanding of snow plowing & removal operations knowledge and understanding of operation of skid steer/loader Knowledge and understanding of operation of a salt truck. Must be dependable and reliable must be available on a 24/7- depending on when storms occur. Must have a valid Wisconsin drivers license. This is an ON CALL Position only for when it snows.
