Mount Vernon Apartments at Bay Management Group is seeking to hire a maintenance technician who can handle routine service calls and prepare apartments for new tenants. These properties are located in Mt. Vernon in downtown Baltimore. Experience and references are a must to be considered! Must be able to work with an electronic calendar, Tablet (for inspection photos), email and have a valid driver's license. Required Skills: *Knowledge of pre 1978 properties for lead *Well rounded & versed maintenance tech – plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, etc. *Microsoft office (Outlook) *AppFolio Property Manager Software – Preferred but not required *Internet Browsing & Part Links *Excellent Organizational skills *Excellent Communication *Attention to Details *Understanding of Building systems *Willingness to learn additional skills *Can work independently & also in a team atmosphere *Punctual *Dependable Benefits of Employment: *No on call – you work Monday – Friday *20% rent discount *Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance options *Retirement Plan – 401(k) Plan *120 days of PTO after probationary period *Additional day of PTO for every year of employment – up to 5 additional days *Starting salary is dependent on experience but will be between $45,000-$50,000. **We do require a minimum of 3 professional references as well as a valid driver’s license and conduct a criminal background check prior to employment**
