Description

I am adopting out my beautiful girl Dixie who will turn 3 years old next month. She has been with me since she was a baby and is fully house-trained (no kennel needed), spayed, microchipped, extremely loving, and gentle. We are experiencing some major life changes at home, and I fear she will not get the time and attention needed so I am adopting her out. Things to know about Dixie: • Dixie loves our fenced yard facing the golf course. She can sit for hours watching the golfers and talking to each one as they pass by. • She is gentle with everyone and everything. While she enjoys the dog park and being around other dogs, she likes the humans more and quickly ignores the dog to get petted by the humans. • Dixie is fully house trained BUT in Goldendoodle fashion, she can get overly excited when company shows up to the house and if they bend and hover over her she can get excited bladder syndrome and pee some. It’s purely an excitement thing and only happens with a guest. • Dixie has never been around kids but she is gentle and loves attention so I suspect she would LOVE a house with kids who can keep up with her • Dixie loves walks and playing ball. She does well on a leash but can pull at times so we still use a training collar. She loves to fetch and understands basics like Drop it and Leave It. An all-around great dog and if my life was not changing so dramatically, I would not be adopting her out. She is a little slice of heaven. Rehoming fee will apply to ensure serious future parents.
