About the Presenter:
Miranda Harris has been practicing yoga for more than 10 years. She became inspired to learn more about yoga philosophy during a backpacking trip in India. She later enrolled in a year-long yoga teacher training, intending to deepen her personal practice. She quickly found a passion for teaching and completed her 500-hour yoga teacher training under Kim King. Miranda teaches yoga through a trauma informed lens and has completed training in yoga for trauma and addiction. Miranda believes the physical and mental elements within yoga practice are equally important. She utilizes mindfulness and purposeful movement to guide students creatively and carefully into their bodies. Above all, Miranda believes yoga should be accessible to all humans. She incorporates modifications in her teaching to safely challenge and inspire students.
