About Join us for a transformative morning of movement, connection and cold exposure as we celebrate and honor the sacred vessel of our body. This event combines the practices of vinyasa yoga, Wim Hof breathwork and ice baths to provide a holistic experience that will leave you feeling invigorated, balanced and calm. Participants will be guided through each practice by master instructors and will have the chance to experience the powerful synergies that can be achieved by this unique combination of techniques. Event Details Sunday January 29th, 2022 | 9am - 12pm Join us at The Movement Oasis at 8:45am for check-in. Enjoy a yoga flow led by April Gardner (@aprilmayyoga). A 45 minute, all-level vinyasa style class focusing on intention setting to leave you connected, grounded and at peace with your body, mind and spirit! Learn the Wim Hof Method, a powerful combination of controlled breathing techniques and cold therapy before experiencing a guided Wim Hof breathwork experience by Christopher Harrington, a cold water therapist and certified Wim Hof Method Instructor (who has trained and lived with the iceman himself)! This practice will prepare the mind and body for cold exposure. Immerse yourself in an ice bath for an invigorating and rejuvenating experience that can help increase circulation, reduce muscle soreness, improve immune function and aid in recovery, as well as help reduce anxiety and depression. Cold water immersion has been used in various cultures and therapies for centuries, known for its ability to improve mental and physical well-being and resilience. You will be guided by Christopher Harrington in a 1 minute - 6 minute ice bath. After, enjoy bites from Planta, Sound botanical beverages and time to connect with the Hi Vibe community.
