The Death Cafe is an open, friendly environment intended to provide a safe space for open discussion. No topics are pre-determined, the conversation goes where it goes! Everyone has their own fears, ideas and questions about the dying process, and even what happens afterwards.
Enjoy cocoa and refreshments while we navigate some interesting discussions! Hosted by historic Rosehill Cemetery, inside of the mausoleum in the Hennig Chapel.
The Death Cafe is an international organization, with 82 countries participating and over 400,000 meetings held. Chicago is one of the newest chapters to spread its wings and we are proud to host it at the oldest and largest cemetery in Chicago.
